Within the scope of the project initiated by Ürgüp Municipality, registrations for the courses to be opened for both children and adults have started.

According to the tariff determined by the decision taken in the June Extraordinary Assembly decision of Ürgüp Municipality, the courses, which are opened for a monthly fee of 1,000 TL for adults and 750 TL for children, will be opened in the center used by the municipality next to the Altı Kapılı Tomb.

Trainings will be given by expert trainers in the academy, whose applications are received online at http://akademi.urgup.bel.tr/.

In the center established by the Ürgüp Municipality Education Working Group, in the first stage under the “Culture and Art Academy”, courses were created for those who want to improve their skills in folk dances, choir, rhythm, zumba and yoga for adults, folk dances, choir and rhythm branches for children. It was stated that the courses will be quickly diversified according to demand and the aim is to establish Theater and Literature clubs, chess for children and English and painting classes for adults.

Urgup Mayor Ali Ertugrul Bul, who thanked the education working group for their outstanding efforts, wished success in the work of the academy and stated that after the trainings reach a certain level after the applications, they will ensure that talented children will receive education with scholarships with the “Art on the Hanger” Project.
