As a result of the agreement reached between the Ürgüp Municipality and the Ürgüp Chamber of Commerce and Industry, both institutions registered their title deeds.

In the past, the Ürgüp Chamber of Commerce had built the Ürgüp Chamber of Commerce building on the land allocated to the Ürgüp Chamber of Commerce indefinitely and without charge, but the municipality could not earn any income from the land. With the authority received from the Ürgüp Municipality Council, Ürgüp Mayor Ali Ertuğrul Bul reached an agreement with the Ürgüp Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ahmet Aydın for the benefit of both institutions.

The land owned by the Ürgüp Municipality was transferred to the Ürgüp Chamber of Commerce, and the shop where the Ürgüp Notary, which is owned by the Ürgüp Chamber of Commerce, was rented and the shop on the upper floor was transferred to the Ürgüp Municipality with a swap agreement and the title deeds were transferred.

Stating that both institutions are institutions working for Ürgüp and the people of Ürgüp, Ürgüp Mayor Ali Ertuğrul Bul said, “May it be auspicious for Ürgüp. We have two shops that bring in rent. Maybe we can make different decisions for the future. “I would like to thank our Chairman Ahmet and the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for their constructive approach during the negotiations. Everything is for Ürgüp.”
