Urgup Municipality Zabıta Directorate teams; In cooperation with Urgup District Police Department, they carried out an audit for people who collect money by using the religious and conscientious feelings of citizens throughout the district.

At the end of Friday prayers, the teams of the Municipality Police Department, who went around all the mosques in the district, intervened in the beggars who asked for money from the citizens leaving the mosque.

Ürgüp Municipality Zabıta Manager Emrah Baş warned the citizens not to help the beggars who try to gain profit by exploiting their feelings and asked them to inform the Zabıta teams in case of such a situation.

Within the scope of the application, it was stated that while the beggars were prosecuted, the money they collected was confiscated on behalf of the public.
