With the new system that Ürgüp Municipality has started to implement in open, closed and controlled parking areas, a new era has begun in parking operations in Ürgüp.

In the system that has started to be implemented with license plate recognition automation via camera handheld terminals in paid parking areas, the hours when HGS-defined vehicles enter and exit are recorded via satellite GPS and are accrued as parking debts on the license plate.

Ürgüp Mayor Ali Ertuğrul Bul, who said that the main goal of the application is to regulate the parking operation in the district center and to prevent haphazard parking of vehicles in traffic, emphasized that they ensured that suitable parking areas remained for guests who came to visit the district and that they achieved their target success in the first week with the automation system.

Mayor Bul, in his statement, underlined that they were working on the transportation master plan and said that the parking lot work was a part of the transportation master plan and that they would implement the square pedestrianization project in the future.

In a statement made by Ürgüp Municipality: The parking lot application; It was stated that the application was successfully continued with the tariff determined by the municipal council decision on the streets and parking areas with the Parking lot manager, field controller and 18 field officers.

It was stated that there is no subscription application in roadside parks, and that tradesmen and citizens of Ürgüp can park their vehicles at affordable prices with a monthly subscription in closed and controlled parking lots.
