FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF ÜRGÜP
The demolition of the dilapidated building known as Büyük Otel, consisting of 2 blocks, located in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi, Parcel 19, Block 47 in our district, owned by the Municipality of Ürgüp, will be sold by public auction in exchange for scrap metal, as per Article 45 of the 2886 State Tender Law.
1- The estimated price of the scrap material to be sold, the temporary security deposit, and the auction time are listed below, and the auction will be held
at the Ürgüp Municipality Temporary Service Building in the presence of the Council, using the open auction method.

2- Those who wish to participate in the auction must meet the conditions specified in Article 5 of the 2886 Law. Applicants
may also participate through an attorney holding a notarized power of attorney. In this case, a notarized copy of the power of attorney and the original signature circular must be submitted to the commission as part of the tender documents.
3- To participate in the auction, a temporary security deposit must be made based on the estimated price of the scrap material, as per Articles 25 and 26 of the 2886 Law.
4- In order to ensure that the commitment is fulfilled in accordance with the contract and specifications, a 6% security deposit will be required from the bidder (buyer) before signing the contract, as per Article 54 of the 2886 Law. If the buyer fails to comply with this requirement, the auction will be canceled without the need for a protest or judgment, and the temporary deposit, if any, will be forfeited. The provided security deposit can be replaced with other acceptable values. After the contract is signed, the temporary deposit will be refunded.
5- Those wishing to participate in the auction, whether individuals or legal entities, must submit the following documents and pay the temporary deposit.
- Residence certificate, address in Turkey for notifications,
- Real persons must provide their Turkish ID number, and legal entities must provide their tax ID number, along with a certificate of registration from the court or trade chamber of the location of the legal entity's headquarters, issued within the year of the tender,
- For real persons, a certificate showing registration with the chamber of commerce, industry, or artisans and tradesmen,
- If it is a joint venture, documents for each partner in the joint venture, both real and legal persons.
- Notarized signature circular for the year of the tender,
- For real persons, a signature declaration,
- For legal entities, notarized signature circular or power of attorney confirming full authority to represent the legal entity in the auction,
- If the applicant is a company, a document specifying the company's articles of association, shareholders, their share ratios, and duties,
- If applying on behalf of a proxy, notarized power of attorney and signature circular for those placing the bid,
- Temporary deposit for the work,
- If the applicants are joint ventures, a notarized joint venture declaration prepared in accordance with the sample attached to this specification, along with the partnership agreement signed by the partners,
- A “Site Visit Certificate” to be obtained from the administration indicating that the auctioned properties have been inspected. This document will be signed by the municipal police at the building site.
- A commitment stating the personnel to be employed during the course of the work:
1 construction engineer with at least 5 years of experience (site supervisor)
1 full-time occupational safety expert
- A commitment stating that the machinery and equipment used for the work will be either owned or rented by the bidder:
1 high-reach excavator (demolition shear)
1 water truck
3 trucks (at least 8 tons)
6- VAT applicable at the time of delivery and stamp duty will be paid separately from the sale price according to the relevant regulations.
7- The Tender Commission is free to decide whether or not to hold the auction, providing a justification in the decision.
Objections to the commission's decision not to hold the auction are not allowed.
8- In case of dispute, the competent authority will be the Ürgüp execution offices and courts.
This tender’s special terms and the file can be viewed at our Municipality’s Secretariat during working hours, and the special terms can be obtained for a fee of 100.00 TL from the Municipality’s Secretariat. Announced on April 15, 2020.
