ANNOUNCEMENT
FROM ÜRGÜP MUNICIPALITY

The kiosk and open area, owned by our municipality and located at Cumhuriyet Square in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi of our district (as indicated in the attached sketch), have been put up for tender to be leased for a period of 3 years in accordance with Article 45 of Law No. 2886.

1- The tender will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 15:30 in the municipal council meeting hall in the presence of the tender committee.

2- The temporary deposit specified below for the kiosk and open area must be paid to our municipality before the tender time (no later than 15:00). Those who do not pay the temporary deposit and those with debts to our municipality such as property tax, water, or environmental tax will not be allowed to participate in the tender.

3- The monthly rental fees for the kiosk and open area for the years following the first year will be determined and collected with an increase based on the revaluation rate set by the Ministry of Finance each year. (Rental fees will be collected over 12 months.)

4- Participants in the tender are required to obtain a criminal record from the Public Prosecutor’s Office. Those who do not submit a criminal record and those convicted of disgraceful crimes will not be allowed to participate in the tender.

5- Those participating in the tender on behalf of any firm, company, or cooperative must submit the Chamber of Commerce Registration Copy, Commercial Registry Certificate, Signature Circular, and Authorization Document (notarized). Additionally, all company partners must grant personal proxy to the authorized signatory, or all partners must sign the prepared contract, and the company must have no debts such as taxes or social security contributions.

6- Participants in the tender must pay a furnishing deposit of 50,000.00 TL to our municipality before the tender for the provision of tables and chairs (seating groups) deemed suitable by our municipality for the aforementioned kiosk and open area within 15 days from the tender date. Once the furnishings are procured within 15 days and approved by our municipality, the 50,000.00 TL deposit will be refunded.

7- The rental fees for the kiosk and open area to be leased will be paid monthly in advance. In case of delay (non-payment), the rental fees will be collected with a daily late payment penalty as determined under Article 51 of Law No. 6183, and the tender will be unilaterally terminated.

8- All legal expenses related to the tender will be borne by the tenant.

9- The tender commission is free to decide whether or not to proceed with the tender, provided the reason is stated in the decision. The commission’s decision not to hold the tender cannot be appealed.

10- In case of any dispute, the Ürgüp Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have jurisdiction.

The special condition file related to this tender can be viewed at our municipality’s Registry Office during working hours every day, as hereby announced. May 11, 2022
