ANNOUNCEMENT
FROM ÜRGÜP MUNICIPALITY

The kiosk and open area, owned by our municipality and located at Cumhuriyet Square in Cumhuriyet Mahallesi of our district (as indicated in the attached sketch), have been put up for tender to be leased for a period of 3 years in accordance with Article 45 of Law No. 2886.

1- The tender will be held on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 15:30 in the municipal council meeting hall in the presence of the tender committee.

2- The temporary deposit specified below for the kiosk and open area must be paid to our municipality before the tender time (no later than 15:00). Those who do not pay the temporary deposit and those with debts to our municipality such as property tax, water, or environmental tax will not be allowed to participate in the tender.

3- The rental fees for the kiosk location to be leased will be paid in advance every six months. In case of delay (non-payment), the rental fees will be collected with a daily late payment penalty determined under Article 51 of Law No. 6183, and the tender will be unilaterally terminated.

4- The monthly rental fees for the kiosk and open area for the years following the first year will be determined and collected with an increase based on the revaluation rate set by the Ministry of Finance each year. (Rental fees will be collected in advance every 6 months over a 12-month period.)

5- Those participating in the tender on behalf of any firm, company, or cooperative must submit the Chamber of Commerce Registration Copy, Commercial Registry Certificate, Signature Circular, and Authorization Document (notarized) pertaining to them. Additionally, all company partners must grant personal proxy to the authorized signatory, or all partners must sign the prepared contract, and the company must have no debts such as taxes or social security contributions.

6- Participants in the tender are required to obtain a criminal record from the Public Prosecutor’s Office. Those who do not submit a criminal record and those convicted of disgraceful crimes will not be allowed to participate in the tender.

7- Participants in the tender must pay a furnishing deposit of 100,000.00 TL to our municipality before the tender for the provision of tables and chairs (seating groups) deemed suitable by our municipality for the aforementioned kiosk and open area within 15 days from the tender date. Once the furnishings are procured within 15 days and approved by our municipality, the 100,000.00 TL deposit will be refunded.

8- All legal expenses related to this tender, including announcements, advertisements, taxes, duties, fees, and notarized lease agreements, will be borne by the tenant.

9- The tender commission is free to decide whether or not to proceed with the tender, provided the reason is stated in the decision. The commission’s decision not to hold the tender cannot be appealed.

10- In case of any dispute, the Ürgüp Courts and Enforcement Offices shall have jurisdiction.
