Ürgüp Municipality Will Cover Youth’s YKS Fees

The Ürgüp Municipality will cover the YKS exam fees of 12th grade students who reside in Ürgüp and are receiving formal education in the final year of high school (12th grade) and will take the 2025 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS).

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• 12th grade students receiving formal education in high schools in Ürgüp can apply.

• 12th grade students residing in Ürgüp and receiving formal education in Nevşehir can also apply.

• Students must be applying to YKS for the first time and must not have graduated.

• The application must be completed by paying the exam application fee according to the ÖSYM calendar. (Late and penalty applications will not be paid. Please complete your application by making the payment on the due date.)

• It is necessary to complete the applications for TYT - AYT - YDT - MSÜ exams and apply in person to the Ürgüp Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Directorate with the IBAN information on behalf of the student.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

• YKS applications will be received by ÖSYM between 06.02.2025 and 03.03.2025, and refunds for University Candidates who apply late will not be processed. Refund requests will be accepted by our municipality until 17:00 on 03.03.2025.

• Applications will be made by applying in person to our Municipality Culture and Social Affairs Directorate.

• Bringing your ÖSYM exam application documents with you will speed up your application process.

THINGS TO BE CONSIDERED:

• The IBAN information of the university candidate applying to YKS must match the name and surname of the IBAN number given at the bank. Otherwise, payment cannot be made.

• The IBAN number given for the application must belong to banks in Turkey. Payments cannot be made to IBAN numbers given to foreign banks. Payments cannot be made to payment accounts such as Papara.
