    Hasan Hüseyin Samur

    Hasan Hüseyin Samur, born on December 23, 1924, in Ürgüp as the child of Osman and Fatma, completed his primary education at Zafer and İnkılap Primary Schools. After returning from military service, he started his commercial life in Ürgüp’s Çatalçeşme district by opening an herbal shop.

    In 1948, he married Nazmiye Hanım, the daughter of Yağcı Bekir Akyağ, and they had three children: Muzaffer, Erdal, and Osman.

    In 1972, he moved to Ankara and continued his business life there with his children. Despite reaching retirement age, he continues to serve as an example to the people of the country and remains committed to contributing to education.

    In his hometown of Ürgüp, he built the Hasan Hüseyin Samur Student Dormitory next to TESAN Fen Lisesi, located between Evka and Fatih neighborhoods.
