Hacı Ahmet Toksöz was born in 1923 in Ürgüp as the son of Akif Ağa.

He started working as a tailor. After completing his military service, he settled in Ankara. In 1943, he married Münire Hanım. He continued his business life in Ankara starting from 1948. He had two sons, Erol Toksöz and Akif Toksöz.

In 1992, he took responsibility for the construction of an additional floor and 10 classrooms at Ürgüp Kılıçarslan Primary School. In 1993, he passed away before seeing the completion of Hacı Ahmet Toksöz Middle School.

His sons ensured the completion of the school. In December 2002, his sons, Erol Toksöz and Akif Toksöz, constructed a new building with 6 classrooms and a multi-purpose sports hall, and donated it to Hacı Ahmet Toksöz School.
