April 23rd Children's Carnival and Kite Festival to be Organized by Our Municipality

In celebration of April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day, the world’s first and only holiday dedicated to children, gifted by the great leader and founder of the Republic of Turkey, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, our municipality will be organizing the April 23rd Children’s Carnival and Kite Festival.

The celebration program will begin at 09:00 with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Atatürk Monument and will continue at 10:00 with the official holiday celebration at the district stadium.

Following the official ceremonies, the 2nd Ürgüp April 23rd Children’s Carnival will take place at Ürgüp Stadium at 12:00, featuring inflatable play areas, mascots, mind game zones, competitions, gifts, various fun activities, and refreshments.

As colorful kites soar through the sky during the carnival, hot air balloons will also add to the spectacle with a stunning visual show.
